2013 Septic System Renovation - Completed
Due Date: 8/22/2013

During the summer of 2013 NHS upgraded the existing sewer drainage.  This project was funded through the Facilities Trust Fund.  The project was performed by Septic Designs of NH.  The existing sewer line had malfunctioned during the spring months resulting in eroded 4" cast iron piping stationed under the concrete flooring throughout the school.  A plan was designed to abandon the existing sewer line and redirect the sewerage to the exterior walls and place 6" SCH 80 piping surounding the perimeter of the school and conecting to the existing septic holding tanks.  An addition improvement to the 1996 sewer project was added to this project.  The 1996 project had improper drainage resuting in interior water flow issues.  This was corrected and currently the entire school sewer drainage system is working properly.
